Teaching Assistant - 8:1:2	The District has anticipated vacancies for two(2) Teaching Assistants at Moreau Elementary. This is to support the newly established 8:1:2 classroom. Reports to Supervising Teacher and Building Principal Description Provides instructional services under the supervision of a Teacher/Administrator. General Responsibilities: Some examples of position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Works with individual students or groups of students on special instructional projects Provides the teacher with information about students which will assist the teacher in the development of appropriate learning and behavioral experiences Assists students in the use of available instructional resources, and assists in the development of instructional materials Assists in related instructional work as required Utilizes their own special skills and abilities by assisting in instructional programs in such areas as foreign language, art, crafts, music, and similar subjects Assists students with specific health-related activities as appropriate Performs other related duties as assigned Salary and Benefits: Ten month position, 6.5 Hours per day Salary and Benefits pursuant to current CSEA contract	$19.25
Special Education Teacher - 8:1:2	The district has an anticipated vacancy for a special education teacher at Moreau Elementary School. This position is for a newly established 8:1:2 classroom supporting students across 2 grade levels. All newly employed or reinstated teacher’s placement on the salary schedule is determined by education and prior experience. Recent experience in a field similar to that to which the individual is to be appointed and in a public school system similar to the South Glens Falls Central School System is granted year for year. Actual salary commensurate with experience.	Starting at MA Step 1: $51,453
LOA - School Social Worker/School Psych/School Counselor	The South Glens Falls CSD has a vacancy for a LOA School Social Worker/School Psychologist/School Counselor at Moreau Elementary School. This position supports students in the 8:1:2 programs. The leave will be at Moreau Elementary beginning September 2, 2025 to December 1, 2025. Days 1-24: $145/day Days 25+: $239.26/day
