Physical Education Teacher	The South Glens Falls Central School District has a permanent, tenure-track Physical Education teacher position beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. This will be a traveling position. Grade levels and building assignments are TBD. All newly employed teacher's placement on the salary schedule is determined by education and prior experience. Recent experience in the certification area to which the individual is to be appointed and in a NYS public school system similar to South Glens Falls is granted year for year. Salary commensurate with verified experience.	MA Step 1: $52,225
Elementary Teacher (Multiple Vacancies)	The South Glens Falls Central School District has multiple permanent, tenure-track elementary vacancies (PK-5) for the 2026-2027 school year. Grade level and building assignment are TBD. All newly employed teacher's placement on the salary schedule is determined by education and prior experience. Recent experience in the certification area to which the individual is to be appointed and in a NYS public school system similar to South Glens Falls is granted year for year. Salary commensurate with verified experience.	MA Step 1: $52,225
HS Special Education	The district has a probationary vacancy for a HS Special Education Teacher beginning in the 2026-27 school year. Special Education certification — required Additional English 7-12 certification or the ability to become certified — preferred All newly employed teacher's placement on the salary schedule is determined by education and prior experience. Recent experience in the certification area to which the individual is to be appointed and in a NYS public school system similar to South Glens Falls is granted year for year. Salary commensurate with verified experience.	Step 1 MA: $52,225
LOA - Spanish Teacher	The district has a leave of absence for a Spanish Teacher at the MS, beginning or or about June 4 through June 26, 2026
LOA - Occupational Therapist	South Glens Falls Central Schools has a Leave of Absence for an Occupational Therapist at the Moreau and Harrison Avenue Elementary School. Duties will include, but not limited to: Evaluations Individual and group therapy sessions Consultation IEP development Attendance and participation at meetings The position will commence on or about April 13, 2026 until November 1, 2026. Work over the summer is not required as part of this LOA. If the candidate is interested in working over the summer in the district's extended school year program (ESY), there will be additional compensation.	Per SASTA contract
